After years of developing my writer’s craft as an author and editor, I am also experienced at leading creative writing workshops, for adults and children. I lead creative writing workshops with Calgary Public Library Writer’s Circle, a weekly class to guide and inspire writers of any level (see CPL website for details.) I can lead guided workshops for classrooms from Grade 4 and up, for writer groups looking for specific guidance, and bookclubs wanting to try their hand at writing their own stories. Workshops can be tailored to anywhere from beginners looking how to develop a story, to more focused attention to dialogue, conflict and character building.
